The FPV GS is Ford Performance Vehicles's limited-edition model. It is an entry-level V8 designed to bridge the gap between the Falcon XR8 and the FPV GT with a $20,000 prenium over the XR8 and gets more equipment. FPV plans to build only 250 sedans and 75 utes and 50 of them have been purchased.
Engine and Transmission
The GS uses a re-calibrated 5.4 Litre V8 that poduces 302 kW of power at 6000 rpm and 551 Nm of torque at 4750 rpm. It uses twin-throttle bodies and intake system from the GT. Headers, dual exhausts and a recalibrated engine control unit, also from the GT are used. There is a choice between a 6 speed Manual or Automatic with sequential sportshift, both driving the rear wheels.

Features
The GS gets GT spec suspension, brakes and dual exhausts, unique "GS" striping and logo, 19 inch graphite alloy wheels on the sedan, charcoal cloth interior, GT instrumentation, gearknob and starter button.
