The BMW Welt is a museum built by the architects Coop Himmelb(l)au for BMW in direct proximity to the BMW headquarters in Munich. It is to fulfill an abundance of functions. It will present the current products of BMW, be a distribution center for BMW cars, and offer an event forum and a conference center.

The opening of the BMW Welt will take place in October 2007. Planned for this time is a one day opening of the doors of the adjacent BMW-Werks Munich.
