The Nissan GT500 GT-R is a race car built and produced by Nissan and it's in-house tuning division Nismo. The Vehicle is designed to compete in the SUPER GT series' GT500 Class for the 2008 season, replacing the Z33 350Z coupe which, in turn, replaced the R34 Skyline based race car. The 2008 run will also mark the first time the GT-R competed in Japan in 4 years when it won the Japan GT Championship in 2003. details are scarce as of this writing since the vehicle is officially set to be debut (along with full information) in February 2008.
