The "Casual Lofa"

The Guiness Book of World Records has a Fastest Furniture Record which is held by a British man named Edd China.

Built by Mr. China and David Davenport, the "Casual Lofa" is a motorized sofa and has a top speed of 140 km/h (87 mph). The sofa is in fact legal for use on UK roads.

Commissioned by a UK Online Sofa Retailer the guys are now building a new model, the "Sofa.com Speed Machine" intended to break the World Record in September 2006. The public can now enter a competetion to ride the machine and have a chance of being a record breaker themselves!
