Recent Changes

  • For 2011, the GL8 is all-new. The styling is based on the Buick Business Hybrid Concept and motivation comes from a choice of either a 2.4 litre Ecotec engine or a 3.0 litre SIDI V6, as well as a six-speed automatic transmission. It rides on a 3,088mm wheelbase and measures a substantial 5,256mm long, 1,878mm wide, and 1,800mm tall. More than enough room for 7 passengers. Inside, the cabin is well appointed with a wrap-around dashboard, blue ambient lighting, wood trim, and tasteful metallic accents. Options include two-tone leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, power-sliding doors, a Bose audio system, and a rear seat entertainment system with a 10.2-inch screen. Pricing starts at 288,000 RMB ($43,195 / €32,800) and deliveries are scheduled to begin in January. [1][2]
