Recent Changes
- After 42 years the p538 nameplate is set to be revived in the form of a concept car to be unveiled on June 2008 in Nardo called the Bizzarrini P538 Prototype. It is hoped by those involved (designer Stefan Shultze, engineer Alan Mertens with blessing from Giotto Bizzarrini himself) that this new vehicle will see production thus reviving the legendary nameplate back from its 1969 death. It is based on the chassis of the Galmer Arbitrage GT Thai supercar and will be powered by a Corvette-sourced Chevrolet LS7 V8. The American mill produce 505 bhp matched to a body that weighs only 800 kg.
