Recent Changes
- In 2006, Toyota Australia introduced the 'Enhanced Safety Pack' for the Tarago. The pack has Vehicle Stability Control as standard along with traction control, front-seat side airbags, full-length curtain airbags and a driver's knee airbag. The Enhanced Safety Pack also debuts Toyota's Pre-Crash Seatbelt System. The system uses information from the brake assist system and/or stability control system to prepare the front seatbelts to anticipate for a collision. This pack is standard in GLX models but optional in GLi models with an extra price of $1,500 AUD.
