The Ferrari Portfolio Personalization Programme is an extensive personalization program initiated by Ferrari that allows customers the opportunity to commission various Italian design houses such Fioravanti, Pininfarina and Zagato to create one-off redesigns of their automobiles with full factory support and recognition. The program, thus far, extends its support to cars based off of the Ferrari Enzo, the F430 or the 612 Scaglietti (However, the 599 and the California is still excluded).
History
The program was conceived in the wake of millionaire stockbroker James Glickenhaus' commissioning of his P4/5 based off of a Enzo and Giorgetto Giugiaro's GG50 50th anniversary in the design business present to himself. The vision was to revive the old coachbuilding tradition employed by exclusive manufacturer's in the 1920's and 1930's and allow wealthy customers the ability to utilize existing Ferrari platforms in order to bring their dream Ferraris to life while at the same time extending full support as well as full recognition. The first vehicle to take advantage of the new program is the Ferrari SP1 (based off of an F430) which was commissioned by prominent Ferrari collector and Japanese business executive Junichiro Hiramatsu from Fioravanti.
