Paddleshift is a feature in Automastic transmission cars that allows the driver to shift manually.The main purpose is to increase the performance of this car when need it.This will bring both performance and driving excitement.
Early paddleshift
Paddleshift were originally available in F1 cars.Later,paddleshift was used in supercars.But now even economy class cars like Honda Jazz have paddleshift feature.
How to operate
Usually cars that are equipped with paddleshift have 2 panels behind the steering wheel.The left side is for shifting gear down and the right side is for shifting up.Usually the left side has a negative sign,while the right side has the plus sign.
