The Toyota Aurion is a large car produced by Toyota. Unveiled at the Melbourne Motor Show in 2006, the Aurion is positioned to take on the large car market despite a drop in 15.7% of sales. The Aurion is greek for "tomorrow" and reveals a new generation of family cars to be sporty, enjoyable and yet, versatile. It replaced the Avalon in Australia and is currently built in Altona, Australia. Other Aurions on sale in eastern Asia have been on production there and are sold as upper-market Camrys.

Worldwide
The Australian-built Toyota Aurions are exported to the Middle East. Around Asia, Toyota Aurions are being built there and are sold as Camrys. The TRD Aurion on the other hand hasn't been exported and there aren't any plans to do so.
Design quirks and oddities
All Toyota Aurions aren't suitable for running on E10. Doing so can result in the engine idling irreglarly, loss of performance and 100 kilometres off its driving range.
