Street and Racing Technology (SRT) is the high performance division of Chrysler LLC. SRT originated as Team Viper, which later merged with Team Prowler to form Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE). SVE was later renamed Performance Vehicle Operations (PVO), but since all PVO vehicles used the term SRT, it was decided in 2004 that the division would just use the name SRT.
