History
Other events
Shannons Auctions
Run by an insurance company Shannons, classic, rare or vintage cars are on display at the front wall and get sold in an auction held on the day after the final day the motor show is open. This auction was run annually.
Aftermarket Gallery
Just to the left when you enter the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, there is an aftermarket gallery where you can look at and buy some automotive amenity products.
L'Oreal Paris Men Expert Lounge
Inside the exhibition building, men can come and try the L'Oreal Hydra Energetic facial products.
Gran Turismo on Play Station
Visitors can have a go at Gran Tursimo through 2 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution rally cars and do a lap. Gran Turismo games are updated by their release years.
Four-wheel-driving
A miniature 4WD track is usually set up in front of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Visitors get a chance to ride in the new off-roaders and experience the vehicles' capabilities when driven through the 4WD course.
Peugeot stunt driving
Held from 2005 to 2006, the event compromises with several Peugeot 206s. English precision driver Russ Swift showcases his driving talents such as hand-brake turns and parking and driving on 2 wheels. In 2006, a Peugeot 307 made an appearance.
