Kewet is an battery electric vehicle currently manufactured by Kollega Bil in Oslo, Norway.
The car seats three, has a range of typically 50 to 80 km between charges (150 km with Li-Ion), with a top speed of 80 km/h, The chassis is made of galvanized steel and the shell is made of Glass-Reinforced Plastic.
The Kewet was originally developed and produced in Hadsund Denmark in the period 1991 to 1995. Production moved to Nordhausen Germany for a while, but there were problems, and it was later relocated back to Hadsund. Production rights were then acquired by Kollega Bil in 1998. Kollega Bil later changed name to ElbilNorge AS.
