The Volvo City Taxi was a concept car built by Volvo in 1977 as Volvo's response to a challenge from the New York office of transport and the Museum of Modern Art. The City Taxi was powered by a six cylinder diesel engine driving the front wheels. It was also designed to be able to fit a wheel chair.
