The Cadillac Sixteen was a luxury car built by Cadillac as a concept car in 2003. Although extreme as most concept cars are, it was carefully considered for production but was eventually turned down. The 2008 Cadillac CTS, which was unveiled at the 2007 North American International Auto Show, has a design that echoes the styling elements of the Sixteen and it is expected that those elements will find their way into the whole Cadillac lineup in the future.

The vehicle's V-16 engine features GM's Displacement On Demand and can run on 4, 8, or 12 cylinders, depending on the user's choice. This allows it to achive higher fuel milage when on fewer cylinders, but still has the high-performance capabilities when more cylinders are on.
