SEAT Altea is offered in several body styles: standard version, XL (a longer version), and Freetrack, a SUV version of the XL. The third generation of SEAT Toledo is based also in SEAT Altea.
The XL were launched in 2006 and the Freetrack in 2007. In 2009, Ecomotive range ads new 1.6 TDI CR engine with Stop&Start System. Declares only 4,5 L/100 and 119 g/CO2. Just for Altea and Altea XL.
