The Audi S5 shortly followed the release of the A5. The S5 is powered by a 4.2L V8 FSI producing 354 PS (349 hp/260 kW). It will have a more aggressive front end (as most S/RS series Audi's do). It will also include a string of LED headlights in addition to HID beams.

See Wikicars' comprehensive Audi S5 Review.

Recent Changes

  • For 2010, Audi follows the A5/S5 coupe with the A5/S5 Cabriolet. The cabriolet will have the same choice of engines as the coupe mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or the seven-speed dual-clutch S-Tronic transmission. It also bucks the current trend for folding metal origami roofs and settles for a simple folding softtop that opens in 15 sec and closes in 17 sec. In Europe, prices start at €37,300 and delivery begins in the second quarter of 2009. America, on the other hand will have to wait until the Fall of 2009. [1]
