Recent Changes

  • On November 2009, Fiat unveiled the second-generation Doblò two months ahead of its mid-January 2010 launch and sale. The new MPV arrives in two body styles: a 5/7-seat MPV or as a commercial van dubbed Cargo. Sitting on a 2,755 mm wheelbase (the largest in its segment) it offers a 790 liter luggage capacity in passenger MPV form and 3.4 to 4.2 cubic meters in Cargo trim. Underneath the bonnet, the Doblò is available with a single 95 hp Petrol option and a triplet of Multijet diesels producing 90, 105 and 135 hp, respectively, though the list is expected to be joined by a Natural Power engine with dual fuel system (petrol and methane) and an additional diesel engine with Dualogic robotized gearbox later. Inside, all variants will be equipped with Fiat's Start&Stop system as standard and optionally, depending on the version, with an automatic climate control system with distribution to rear seats, cruise control, parking sensors, a built-in Blue&Me hands-free system and a "Blue&Me TomTom" navigator. There is no word as of this writing on pricing but there are rumours that the Cargo model might pop up in the American market as a commercial van for Dodge's Ram truck division in 2012. [1]
