Howdy, Im Steve. Im a student at the University of Maryland, College Park and a car-maniac. Unfortunately I can only dream because I haven't the time or money to tinker as I wish. But that should change in a few years. I found Wikicars through a friend of mine who polices the main Wikipedia site, and I was hooked. Its so easy to share what you know, and I find myself learning more at the same time. I belong to site such at vwvortex.com and focaljet and love the communities. My day isn't complete without a visit to The Car Lounge or WikiCars.
I drive a 1998 VW Passat 1.8t 5-speed. Its comfy, smooth and gets good mileage. I would love to modify it, and I've thought of ways to make thousands disappear, but so far, no dough. I think its one of the best designs of the late 90s, and hope to keep it going for years to come. Some call me a nut for loving my wagon, but I know its because they wish they could do as much with their sedans.
