Who writes the content on Wikicars?

Car owners and enthusiasts like you create Wikicars content. To make the site as useful as possible at launch, employees of Internet Brands wrote volunteer articles about their cars. They drew on their own experience as car-owners, as well as publicly available information from Internet Brands' automotive sites, Wikipedia and government sites.

How does Wikicars make money?

Wikicars was created as a labor of love by the car-loving employees of Internet Brands' automotive businesses. There are links to those businesses where Internet Brands content can supplement user contributions, so Internet Brands does benefit indirectly from traffic to Wikicars. But there is currently no plan to sell advertising on the site.
