Wikicars

Wikicars is a project to create the World's most comprehensive source of information about all things automotive. The project was initiated in June, 2006, by Internet Brands, the parent company of sites that include CarsDirect.com, Autos.com, and Autodata Solutions. These sites offer some of the web's richest automotive content, and Wikicars has been seeded with InternetBrands content -- as well as some publicly-available content -- to get it off the ground.

Hundreds of contributors have already begun expanding and improving Wikicars articles, and we hope you will too! If you're reading this you probably drive a car, and if you drive a car you probably have knowledge or opinions that could help other car-owners and shoppers.

If you would like to help, feel free to add to existing articles by clicking the Edit tab at the top of any page, or start a new article by searching on a topic of interest and writing what you want if no entry already exists for that topic. Remember, however, not to use any copywritten material; if you're not sure whether something is copywritten, err on the safe side and don't use it.
