De’Silva first came into notoriety for designing the [[Alfa Romeo 156]] and [[Alfa Romeo 147|147]]. From Alfa, he was poached by [[SEAT]], where he designed the current incarnations of the [[SEAT León|León]] and [[SEAT Toledo|Toledo]], employing the same sporty design philosophy.
 
De’Silva's first design since becoming head of styling for [[Lamborghini]] was the 2006 [[Lamborghini Miura#2006 Miura concept|Lamborghini Miura concept]], first shown at the [[Los Angeles Auto Show]] in January.
 
His favourite car is the new [[Audi A5]], which will be launched in the year 2007.
