Great Job!

Hi User:MercuryLover2008. Great work on the Mercury vehicle line-up. You definitely know a lot about their cars! To help other members of the Wikicars' community get to know a little bit more about you, we ask that you share a little bit about yourself on your user page. Out of curiosity, what is it about Mercurys that's made you such a fan? Do you or have you owned one? Are you involved in the auto industry? Thanks again and welcome. Happy Wiki'ing! =) -Nidhi 11:39, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Image use

Hello, MercuryLover2008, I have some concerns to share with you. I, and all other staff here at Wikicars are greatful for your contributions, but you need to learn how to properly post images on an article. I am speaking with great agitation, when I say it is very annoying. When you post an image on an article, please don't just place it there. Here is a sample of a proper image link : [[ImageMercury Sable.jpg|right|thumb|250px]]. Please pay attention to this. First of all, when placing an image on a page, either right align it or left align it. Second, please thumbnail your images (As per ‘thumb’ in the link) and last of all please size your images (The most often used sizes being bewteen: 200px - 350px). One last thing of note, if using many images for a section or car, create a gallery using <gallery> at the beginning with the images placed like this inbetween: Image:Mercury Sable.jpg and using </gallery> at the end. -- Enzo Worshipper (Talk to me + Contribs) 19:34, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for cleaning up those pages, now one more thing, please do not place the Mercury logo atop articles. I personally think having the logo up there is very annoying, and that is something we do not do here. Thank you. -- Enzo Worshipper (Talk to me + Contribs) 23:30, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Your Welcome

I am new to Wikicars so I did not know about the pictures very well i apologize and I will remove the Mercury Logo from the pages.

                                   Sorry For the Inconvenience.

Suggestion

The next time you create a page for a vehicle, could you please use the Model Template? It's just so we could have a more streamlined and professional looking website. Thanks. Try pasting this if you find having to go to the community portal to copy the template: {{subst:model}}. Red marquis 23:56, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
