Designer Homer Jay Simpson

The Homer is an American Concept Vehicle built by Powell Motors in 1991. It was designed and built by Homer Jay Simpson as the car for the average man. The car featured such stylish themes as bubble domes, tailfins, overly sized beverage holders, child restraints and muzzles and three separate horns which each play La Cucaracha. Powell Motors put everything it had into designing the Homer, which unfortunately was considered a monstrosity by the press and general public. With a sticker price of just $82,000, the Homer put Powell Motors out of business.

  • Three Horns (La Cucaracha)
