Has the truck been in a collision or have you been mudding/offroading? The switch you're talking about is known as the inertia switch, and I've never done much with F-150's from that gen., but in my '94 F-150 it is behind one of the kick panels. It can be moved to another place in the truck. Consult your owner's manual -- Thatswhatsup July 15 2007

Also, I think this article puts way too much emphasis on the new F-150's. And it's all consumer reports type crap with little to no merit. The F-series has existed for about 60 years now and has had various models ranging from the F-100 to the F-800 (which is not even mentioned). I'd also like to see articles on the Ford LNT and LNK trucks, I will create some later if no one else does... -- Thatswhatsup July 15 2007

Motor and HorsePower listings

I tweeked the Motor and horsepower listings to make them more uniform in apperance, I also filled in some missing horsepower Ratings using chilton's shop manuals as my refernce, and I added some missing represenitive pictures on generation's 4 and 7.
