Subcompact sedan is a classification of a sedan size.Usually subcompacts are smaller than compact sedans.

Almost all present subcompact sedans are based on hatchbacks.Usually modern subcompact sedans have the same body as the hatchback version with sedan style tail.As the result,most modern subcompact cars are too tall for a sedan.
