The Guiness World Record has a Fastest Furnitutre Record which is held by a British Guy called Ed China.

The Casual Lofa, a motorized sofa built by Edd China and David Davenport, has a top speed of 140 km/h (87 mph). The sofa is in fact legal for use on UK roads.
