Pre-collision system is an automotive safety feature. Depending on the system, the vehicle will sense and respond to potential collisions. Response systems include driver warnings, employed on vehicles from Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, and others, and often use laser- or radar-based sensors.
