The Pontiac G8 is a rear-wheel-drive, four-door sedan to be made by Pontiac as a 2008 year model vehicle and based on the Holden Commodore. It is the sucessor to the Pontiac Grand Prix and Pontiac Bonneville.

See Wikicars' comprehensive Pontiac_G8 Review.

Recent Changes

  • The G8 model family has also been confirmed to receive a Pontiac badged interpretation of the Holden Ute confirmed to be called the G8 ST. ST is meant to stand for Sport Truck and seeing this modern reinterpretation of the Chevrolet El Camino, it is easy to see why.[1][2][3]

Criticisms

Many on the new forum [www.g8board.com] have criticized the cars tailights and wheels more than anything else. As with the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO, however, bumpers and lights can be swapped from the Austrailian version of the car, the Holden Commodore.
