A staple feature on modern Porsche automobiles is PASM - an acronym for Porsche Active Suspension Management.

Roots

The system, an expensive option, features dampers which are electronically controlled in strength and malleability depending on which mode the driver selects. The system has its roots with the system fitted to the Porsche 959 supercar, and is offered across the whole modern Porsche range.
