Weighing just 670kg and with 252bhp the Lotus 2-Eleven can sprint from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 155mph. Intended as a track day car it costs £39,995 but for and additional £1,100 Lotus will make the car fully road legal.

Taken from the Top Gear website

"March 1, 2007 Eleventh heaven In the world of Lotus, too extreme is probably just about right. So we're guessing the boys from Hethel are pretty pleased with their 2-Eleven track car.

Tipping the scales at a featherweight 670kg and with 252bhp on tap from its supercharged 1.8-litre engine, the 2-Eleven dispatches 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and tops out at 155mph.

Based on the Exige-S, the 2-Eleven is a pared-down, open-top version of that car and it's intended mostly for track day junkies seeking the ultimate fix.

The track car costs £39,995, but for an additional £1,100 you can have it made fully road legal, which should make the 2-Eleven the most extreme Lotus road car ever."[1]
