The Isuzu Trooper (also called Isuzu Bighorn, Opel Monterey, Vauxhall Monterey, Holden Jackaroo, Chevrolet Trooper, Honda Horizon and Acura SLX) was a mid-size SUV produced by Japanese manufacturer Isuzu from 1981 until 2002 when it was replaced by the Isuzu Ascender and the Isuzu Axiom. As Isuzu's first foray into SUVs its rivals included the Ford Explorer and the Dodge Durango.
