The FCX Concept is Concept Car built by Honda to showcase and dispaly the fruits of their research into the viability of Hydrogen powered vehicles. There have been several Concept vehicles to wear the moniker starting in 1999. Its development later resulted in the leased 2002 prototypes of the FCX. More recently, Honda has developed a concept car in 2002 which has resulted in a fully production-ready vehicle for the 2009 model year, dubbed the FCX Clarity.
