He joined his father Ugo Zagatos designer firm Zagato and took over management upon his passing in 1968. Among his works were Fiat 8V Zagato, Alfa Romeo 1900 SSZ, Ferrari 250 GTZ, Maserati A6 and Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato. Also, he raced cars and was one of the founders of Scuderia Ambrosiana of Milano.
