The Buick Centieme is a concept car that was built by Buick for the company's 100th anniversery to tour the 2003 auto show circuit. It demonstrates a refined, traditional Buick take on the modern SUV. The four door Centieme seats six in three rows of two seat each. It also features a twin-turbocharged 3.6 liter V-6 that produces 400 horsepower and 400 lbs.-ft. of torque. The engine turns the wheels via GM's Versatrak all-wheel-drive system.
The Centieme was originally called the Centurion, a name long used by Buick, but it was changed just before it was unveiled to the French word for one hundred. The Centieme did not reach production, but a revised version of the idea was put forward as the Buick Enclave.
