The Apollo was an English car produced for personal use by one Allen Pearce in Hornchurch, Essex between 1971 and 1972.

The Can-Am racer-inspired gull wing doored sports car was a glass fibre bodied vehicle based on the Volkswagen Beetle, and was originally intended purely for Pearce's own use but nearly entered production as a kitcar in 1972.

It should not be confused with the Buick Apollo, a cousin of the Chevrolet Nova.

This article about a car produced between 1945 and 1975 is a stub. You can help Wikicars by expanding it.
