History
In the early 1980s the Vigor was sold as a upper trim level Honda Accord. Through the years the Vigor went upmarket and shared a platform with the Honda Inspire.

The Vigor was only sold in two body styles: a 4-door sedan and a 3-door hatchback. It was more sporter and faster version of the Accord and had more features. In Japan the Vigor competed against the Toyota Chaser and the Nissan Laurel.
