For the exterior, the face and tailgate get a styling cues taken from Honda Jazz/Fit. It's prove to be a success in Malaysia and exported to Indonesia as Daihatsu Sirion. Myvi sibling including Toyota Passo, Daihatsu Boon/Sirion, and newly joint Subaru Justy. It come in 1.3 DVVT engine and a quite high price in Malaysia comparing to Proton cars. In 2007, the SE version which sported an aggresive look from new bumpers.
