Up to 40,000 per year will by built at Nissan's [[Smyrna, Tennessee]] plant. Sales of the Hybrid model will be limited to the U.S. states of [[California]], [[Connecticut]], [[Maine]], [[Massachusetts]], [[New Jersey]], [[New York]], [[Rhode Island]], and [[Vermont]].
