Hey there, Johnmba. Welcome to Wikicars! My name is Nidhi and I'm one of the site administrators for Wikicars.org. Thanks for contributing. Please see our FAQ section or send me a message if you have questions on how to start a page or just want to find out more on expanding the Wikicars' project.

This is great! A way for the world to share knowledge, quickly and efficiently.

I'm looking for more information about the following mystery cars:

The 1st hybrid = Lohner Porsche Mixte? What was it really called? How many were made? Any real pictures, data? Where are some real ones, museums?

Panoz Q9 Hybrid: who banned it? why? what happened to the tech? who created the car?

Tesla's wireless car: specs? any real world data?

The infamous water cars that pop up and mysteriously die off?

What about the 80 designs that were thrown out by 1,000 engineers to create the final prototype on the G21 project that eventually became the 1st gen Prius released to Japan followed by the 2nd gen to California followed by the current gen today at 37% to be followed by a next gen Lithium-Ion upgrade and plug-in version. What were those 80 designs?

Great Posts

Thanks for starting the pages on Tesla, Venturi, etc. Also, great adds on the Prius. LuvWikis 11:17, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree!!! I think it'll be great to have content on other less known auto-makers like NUMMI, Phoenix Motorcars, Commuter Cars, and Universal Electric Vehicles since everyone's so used to hearing about Hondas, Toyotas and Fords.
