Oh, thanks for the picture, LuvWikis, just noticed it - thanks. On the subject, how do I go about getting photos? Can I just use the manufacturer's press photos without breaching copyright? delays 14:46, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

You're welcome. Yes, the manufacturers make some photos available. Also, you'll find some photos on other open source sites, like Wikipedia or the open source photo libraries. LuvWikis 19:22, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

great work on the porsche articles. however, next time, put the article above the Porsche template, the one that says

. Thanks. Red_marquis 8:47, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Ah - OK. Sorry about that. delays

Guys - I would very much like to add images to my articles - however, can I lift images from the 'downloads' section from Porsche? The legal notice does not detail that the pictures are subject to copyright. delays 11:02, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Well, what kind of images do you want to upload? ones you took personally or ones that are available on the web. on that last part, as far as i know, the images only have to come from free sources. Red_marquis 10:14 pm, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

I have a few of my own images - but not enough to cover a few of the articles, and these will have to come from the web. I know I could use photos from Wikipedia, but I think we'd all like different images than the ones there - maybe show a bit more detail etc etc. What defines a free source and where can I find one which will give car pictures? Thanks in advance, delays 16:12, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Feel free to use images on www.carsdirect.com. That is one of our sibling sites. LuvWikis 16:41, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Another good source is www.conceptcarz.com. 0-172 (Talk) 6:56, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

So - just to make sure for the nth time - I can use the photos from www.conceptcarz.com without breaching CR? Thanks in advance! delays 13:35, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Yes, you can use images from Concept Carz. This is just me, but I would not use any of the images with the site's name on it, otherwise I believe you are free to use the images. --Enzo Worshipper (Talk) 4:29, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Awesome writing on the Porsche pages! LuvWikis 21:03, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

RUF Disambiguation

Since RUF has several models of the same name, and since you've decided to include their dates on their page names, I've been thinking maybe you should create disambiguation pages for them. That way, anyone looking for a specific model wouldnt have to be lost and would be able to find the model they are looking for. Here's an example that I created: RUF CTR.

Red_marquis 11:20 , 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi RM, I must say I agree. When I started the RUF page, I had no prior experience of making a manufacturer page from scratch, so it was always going to be a learning curve. However, going back to it, the page looks overly complicated. I was thinking that I could just scrap the all the model pages, and just create one for the BTR, one for the CTR, and one for each of the current models, and then chart the history in them, much like the Porsche 924, 944 and 968 pages include all model variants rather than having separate pages for each. On saying that, the compromise that you've come up with seems to have worked well. Any further comments? Thanks, Iain delays 16:48, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the "experts" page feedback. I think it might also allow new contributors to find their "advisors" on various sections. LuvWikis 16:39, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Porsche 64

i added it in the template already. good catch. Red marquis 07:23, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Fiat and Stubbing

I will start off saying, nice job expanding Fiat! If you plan on working on these articles the way you have with the Stilo, then that is excellent! Onto business, when creating new articles, if you do not immediately put up a sizable amount off information, please Stub the article. We are utilizing the stubbing process as a way of organization, so please, when creating a new article, stub it appropriately. I love your work here, please keep it up! :-D Enzo Worshipper (Talk to me + Contribs) 14:11, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the kind comments - will take this on board. Thanks again! delays 15:46, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Image Categorization

Hey. thanks for helping. Why don't you start on Porsche? Just go through each article and tag each image you see [[Category:Porsche images]]. Enzo Worshipper (Talk to me + Contribs) 13:45, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

9ff GT9

I found this image of 9ff's Veyron slayer, I thought you might enjoy it and use for when you get around to building out the pages for 9ff.

Added four new ideas and removed one in the Pricing section. In case any of you would like to change your votes, now's the time.

Bureaucrat Position

I would like to put forward my nomination for Bureaucrat Status. Besides being the most frequent contributor on this website, I am working on projects such as establishing an Anti-Spam bureau, and further renovation of our pages that I feel would require these Bureaucratic powers.
