The Standard was an American automobile manufactured in Pittsburgh from 1912 until 1923. Produced by the Standard Steel Company, the car was among the first to be offered with a V-8 engine, starting in 1916. The engine was 80hp, and had a swept volume of 5217cc. The company also manufactured rail carriages, and built armored cars during World War I.
