Design quirks and oddities
The B11 Sunny had a stoke of bad reputation. In Series 1 of Top Gear, Richard Hammond named the Sunny his worst car of all time. According to Hammond, blandness commits the worst crime of badness and he also pointed out that the car has no personality and features. The car was burnt down by a jet powered dragster. [1]
The other presenter of Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson declared the Nissan Sunny the 'worst car in the world, ever'. In the 1996 feature Clarkson: Unleashed On Cars, he destroyed one by flinging it from a trebuchet pulled by a tractor.
