Hot Import Nights (HIN) is a public auto show composed mainly of modified Japanese and other imported cars. The show originated in Southern California, but now tours various cities in the United States. Built around the car-customization scene, these designer-driven events run from the early evening through midnight and feature a nightclub-like atmosphere with multiple musical and stage performances alongside automotive displays and vendor booths. Hot Import Nights events also feature a number of promotional models who promote the products of individual companies/magazines/websites, usually by giving away promotional items and signing posters.

The show's atmosphere serves to attract a male-dominated audience of mostly 13 to 30-year-olds. General admission ticket prices are between $25 and $30. Individuals wishing to exhibit their own vehicles or enter it into competition pay a higher fee of around $55 per car.

Sponsors include Boost Mobile, NOS Energy Drink, Pioneer and Bridgestone. As of January 2009, Hot Import Nights and all associated brands are owned by Digital Age Motorsports [1]
