The BMW N62B48 is the latest iteration of the BMW's N62 series engines. It comes in two versions, both displacing 4.8 L (4799 cc/292 in³). The first is a 265 kW (360 hp)/500 N·m (369 ft·lbf) used in the BMW X5 4.8iSA, while a different tune is used for the 270 kW (367 hp)/490 N·m (361 ft·lbf) version. Bore is 93 mm and stroke is 88.3 mm.
