The first products were tricycles and two- and four-cylinder cars, until closure in 1907. The company reappeared as Société Anonyme des Anciens Étabissements Chenard et Walcker in Gennevilliers, in 1908.
The 2-litre car of 1922 was the winner of the very first Le Mans 24 Hours Race, in 1923.
Later models were powered by Citroën or Ford V-8 engines. The company was taken over by Peugeot, in 1946.
